Beautiful nature
The Schwatte Gatt is a nature conservation and FFH area near Vreden in the Münsterland district of Borken. It was designated as a nature reserve in 1958 and expanded in 1992 to its current size of around 62 hectares.

The pond is a worthwhile destination, especially when the water lilies are in bloom. On a boardwalk it goes through the wetland. Beautiful oak forest around it.
