The Babisnauer poplar with a trunk circumference of 5.1m and a height of 17.3m is a popular destination on the pulling jack in Babisnau, a district of the municipality Kreischa. 330m above sea level M. you have a wonderful panoramic view in all directions on a viewing platform. The poplar was planted by the landowner Johann Gottlieb Becke in 1808 as the border tree of his property. The poplar has been a natural monument since 1936. In 1967 and 1996 she lost most of her crown in strong storms.
