"The Tower of Sfinale is a coastal tower in the municipality of Peschici, located on a promontory at the northern end of the Bay of Sfinale. The Tower of Sfinale was built between 1568 and 1569 by the impresario Giovanni della Monica on behalf of Alfonso Salazar, a high official of the Kingdom of Naples, 16 km from Peschici in the direction of Vieste.
