Tips
The Old Palace, which is well worth seeing, was built by Duke Maximilian I in 1623 and is part of the Schleissheim Palace complex. From 1726 to 1918 it was the summer residence of the Electors and Kings of Bavaria from the House of Wittelsbach. The palace complex is one of the most important baroque complexes in Germany.
