The church with its facade together with the road intersection and the bridge forms the center of old Kostajnica. The Baroque complex consists of a one-nave hall church and a one-story monastery wing that is connected vertically to the church, at the level of the sanctuary and the sacristy. The complex was damaged in the Dom. war, and in 1997, the restoration began, where care was taken to respect and preserve its original construction and materials as much as possible. The restoration was completed in 2003.
