In the first photos, the barrow is a rustic hill with trees and a sign. Recently (April 2021), however, the hill resembles a battlefield, as large areas have been cleared. Probably the bark beetle was to blame.
The place is hardly recognizable, the atmospheric overall picture is gone. The sign is still there, however, this creates a bizarre-bizarre impression that is almost worth seeing again in itself.
