⚠️ Caution: 1.25 km of rocky terrain

🚵‍♂️ How to cross a rocky section on a mountain bike?

    1. Anticipate
🔍 Look far ahead to spot the difficult area. Choose your line (the best route between the rocks) before entering it.

    2. Adjust your speed
🐢 Neither too fast (you risk losing control), nor too slow (you risk stalling). Maintain a constant and fluid speed.

    3. Relax your body
🦵 Bend your arms and legs slightly. You become a sort of "shock absorber" that absorbs the shock.

    4. Lighten the front of the bike
⬆️ Just before the large rocks, raise the front wheel slightly to prevent it from hitting the ground.

    5. Stay centered
📏 Keep your weight in the center of the bike, standing on the pedals, for better stability.

    6. Don't stare at the rocks!
👀 Look where you want to go, not at the obstacles: your bike will naturally go in the right direction.

    7. Manage your braking
🛑 Brake before the technical section, not into it. On rocks, avoid hard braking, especially at the front!
