Tips
Located here on the Schorn directly on the Rennsteig, a small, nice seating area has been created below the Schorn to take a rest or a break, for example. If you can't find the path a little above the Schorn, you can park your bike here and briefly use the steeper path to get to the tower. I can also highly recommend this view.

Good view towards Hermannsberg/Dolmar/Rhön. The path to the observation tower is now gravelled and you can easily cycle or walk up there.
