Wild flamingos live here and can be observed from around March until late summer. The exact origin of the flamingos has never been determined. They are presumably escapees from captivity, but are now in their tenth generation living in the wild. Binoculars are highly recommended. The animals are often quite far away (approximately 200 meters).
