In 1924 a committee was formed to build a church. After the project stalled, several women became involved and in August 1926 the first mass was held in a church building (Locanda Roma).
The need for a real church existed from then on and on June 3, 1928 the foundation stone for the Christ the King Church was laid. The church is consecrated after San Benando.
