The original fortified church dates from the 13th century and had a Romanesque core. In the 14th century, the town of Jüdenberg belonged politically to Dinge, but the church belonged to Anhalt. Only after the Reformation and with the formation of the small dwarf superintendency of Gräfenhainichen did church and political affiliation coincide.

In the choir there is an altar whose wooden top shows the Golgotha scene. The sandstone baptism is on the left in the choir room; To the right of it there is a wooden pulpit connected to the wall. The baptismal font and pulpit appear to be of older date. On the left wall there is a memorial plaque with the names of the Möhlauer who lost their lives in the First and Second World Wars. The church ceiling has been shining again in its former glory since 2004. It is still unclear why an overzealous master painter nailed up the historic wooden coffered ceiling with cardboard around 1930. He also probably painted over all the pictures on the gallery and the pulpit gray. The wooden coffered ceiling has now been exposed again - it is visually characterized by historical rosettes. In 2004 the church roof was also given a new covering.
