The Wertach is a 141 km long left tributary of the Lech in the administrative district of Swabia in Bavaria, including its longest source. The two mountain streams from which the Wertach flows together merge at 1,078 m above sea level, and the Wertach flows into the Lech at 461 m above sea level in Augsburg. It drains a catchment area of 1,440 km².
