Check the tide times and venture out at low tide across the Rough Island Causeway - a unique opportunity to walk to an island. Just be sure to give yourself plenty of time to get back before the tide comes in! Also take note that the island is a sea bird nesting colony and the RSPB asks that you don't disturb them by visiting the island in nesting season from May to July.
