Son of J. Callol i Serrats, S.L. is a family business dedicated to salting anchovies in its most traditional and artisanal aspect. Our beginning, verified in the municipal archive of l'Escala and accredited by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Girona, dates back to 1847.

At Callol Serrats we have been able to pass down the millennial tradition of salting anchovies from generation to generation following our own way of working, oriented towards maintaining the artisanal process and insisting on the final quality of the product for the satisfaction of our customers demanding

The continuous dedication and long history of our family making anchovies in the town of l'Escala, makes it possible for us to be the oldest active company in the sector today.

Currently, the sixth generation follows the tradition of salting anchovies, keeping the knowledge passed down from father to son.
