The Beselicher head is with 296 m the highest elevation in the municipality Beselich on the edge of the Limburg basin. It is located in a scenic location in a central location of this community. Beside the listed monastery ruin Beselich with the agriculturally used former monastery yard is since 1767 the pilgrimage chapel "Maria Hilf" in direct neighborhood. The seven chapels of the Seven Sorrows of Mary on the Betweg in the forest of Obertiefenbach after Beselich belong after their completion in 1877 to the ensemble of this pilgrimage chapel.

Mega nice view from here. Can be reached via a forest path or single trails near Niedertiefenbach.

Unfortunately you can not go there directly as it is fenced. That's a pity.
