Magnificent view of Emsdorf. The place is the beginning of the so-called 'Dempers Weg'. In the extension, the path led past the Electoral Mainz Emsdorf outside of the Electoral Mainz enclave in earlier times and the borders of 1756, so that Hessians and travelers from other nations did not have to enter the Electoral Mainz enclave. The path led in a straight line to a Jewish site (well) or to Hatzbach. Today, on the straight route is the Emsdorf festival site, the start and finish of the 'Battle of Emsdorf' circular route and the associated hiking portal.
