The waterfall in Manavgat is worth a visit. It is 4 meters high and approx. 30 meters wide. Entry is 1 euro. You can go there by dolmusch or go on a hike. The bus is signposted towards Manavgat and you have to change there again to the Waterfall bus. It is very popular with hikers and tourists. The bus costs 1 euro per person per entry and can be paid for by the driver. However, caution is advised with children as it is only separated by a simple wooden railing.

One of the most beautiful places on the Manavgat River, which flows from the Taurus Mountains down to the sea, is the Manavgat Waterfalls. The fast-flowing water across the entire width only falls 2 - 3 meters deep, but it is still an impressive spectacle, especially in spring when the river still has a lot of water.

We took a taxi to Dikmen

And from there we hiked to the waterfalls in Manavgat.

        – the entrance fee is only €1, which is absolutely fair.

The trail behind the waterfalls was a bit blocked off, but many locals still made their way through to get closer to the water. We did the same, crossed a shallow part of the river, and were able to swim in the clear water. – wonderful.

The kids let themselves be carried along by the current and had a blast – it's not dangerous!

If you don't want to climb over the fence 🤭

It's best to approach the waterfalls from the other side.

It was a truly magical experience – the sound of the water, the green surroundings, and the refreshing dip in the cool pool. A definite must-do if you're in the region. 🌞💦

Many locals practically have picnics there.

What I would recommend, though, are water shoes!!! Unfortunately, we fished a few panes of glass out of the water.
