This is the site of the Old East Entrance Station, which was one of the original entrances to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It was built in 1938, but the entrance was moved in 1968 when the interstate was built.

The is no road to the entrance, only a path, so it is a nice, quiet way to see the national park.
