The top of Copper Mountain Resort is at 12,441 feet. In the summer, different ski runs and single-track trails can be connected to reach the summit. Though it is mainly utilized as a ski mountain, Copper Mountain has many summer trails and is even home to part of the Colorado Trail.

This lookout is slightly past the official highpoint of the mountain resort, but the backside views to the south are some of the best on the mountain.
