Monte Pigna War Memorial

Mount Pigna is a place rich in history. Here, in fact, the remains of the German positions that occupied the Gothic Line during the Second World War are still visible.Mount Pigna in 1945 was the scene of a clash between Allied troops and German troops. These, after putting up some resistance, retreated and the allies were able to advance along the Apennines.
