Bicycle Hub Kronau

8 cycle path routes meet here. That's why this place was designed with cyclists in mind. Here are the names of the eight cycle paths:

Bird and animal park tour
Lakes tour
Tour de asparagus
Kraich cycle path
St. Laurentius cycling and hiking trail.
On October 14, 2023, the longest bicycle chain in the world was formed here with 1,502 bicycles.
There is also a gender-neutral toilet and a bicycle repair station here.

As part of the federal funding program “Climate Protection through Cycling”, the municipality of Kronau built the first bicycle hub in Germany, including a bicycle service point.

The bicycle hub will officially open on October 14, 2023 at 11 a.m

The bicycle service point is a “public bicycle workshop” equipped with the latest technology.
This facility is intended to support cyclists in everyday and leisure traffic. In addition, this service point will make the Kronau cycling community visible to the outside world.

The bicycle hub is being created as a place with a place to stay and added tourist value, complementing the Kronau town hall square. This is the most important project as part of the municipality of Kronau's 15-year bicycle concept.
