Immersed in absolute peace. Very compact forest floor, sometimes grassy and sometimes cemented, except for the last 2 km or so where more effort and attention are required due to the coarse and unstable surface. The cycle route (little more than a bumpy mule track) ends in a pseudo clearing with a large cantilevered stone, from where the path to the summit winds.
