Diesbar-Seußlitz Castle Church.

Info:

The present castle church dates back to a medieval monastery church.

In 1268, Margrave Henry the Illustrious donated his country estate to a Poor Clares monastery.

The monastery was dissolved in 1542.

In 1724, the then owner commissioned the renowned Dresden council carpenter, George Bähr, to build the castle.

The construction of the Baroque castle church was also carried out under the direction of George Bähr on the existing Gothic foundations of the monastery church from 1268.
