Castle Church.

The present-day castle church dates back to

a medieval monastery church.

In 1268, Margrave Henry the

Illustrious donated his country estate to a Clarissan monastery.

The monastery was dissolved in 1542.

In 1724, the well-known Dresden council carpenter, George Bähr, was commissioned by the then owner to build the castle.

The construction of the Baroque castle church was also carried out under the direction of George Bähr on the existing Gothic foundations of the monastery church from 1268.
