Three Altars Stone Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross Kulaevo was built in 1735 under the care of the landowner I.F. Ludkin (according to other sources - in 1762). The aisles were consecrated in honor of the Smolensk Icon of the Mother of God and St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. The church also operated two chapels, a parish school and a library. In 1937, the temple was closed, the building housed a rural school, workshops and a stable, and since 1978 the building was empty and was partially destroyed. In 1988, the believers of the village began the restoration of the church, and in 1990 services were resumed in it. The church building was finally handed over to believers in 2001. Currently, restoration work is underway in the temple. Services are held on Sundays and holidays.
