Hubal's Rampart - a symbolic ring-shaped structure made of fieldstones, located in a clearing near the village of Anielin, in the place where Major Henryk Dobrzański "Hubal", the commander of the Detached Polish Army, died at dawn on April 30, 1940 in a skirmish with the Germans. His subordinate corporal Antoni Kossowski "Ryś" died with him. Major's horse "Demon" also died from the bullets. In the center of the building there is a boulder with a plaque commemorating this event. There are additional commemorative plaques on the inner walls.
Every year, on April 30, on the anniversary of the death of "Hubal", mourning ceremonies are held here.
