It is an important architectural example of the 17th century, the period of the so-called "Venetian Villas". It is located in Badoere di Morgano, in the province of Treviso and constitutes the center of the town.
The project is attributed to the architect Giorgio Massari.

The barchessa of Villa Badoer called "La Rotonda" is one of the most important architectural examples of the period of the Venetian villas. It is located in Badoere di Morgano, in the province of Treviso.
It is a long portico that is divided into two hemicycles interrupted by the passage of a public road (SP 68 "di Istrana"). Inside is enclosed a large circular space (Piazza Indipendenza) which forms the heart of the town.
The western building is the "noble" part of the complex; originally the project was attributed to Giorgio Massari, but more recent studies favor an architect from Riccati, perhaps Francesco Maria Preti. The other, on the other hand, has more spartan lines, while harmoniously completing the ensemble. These differences are the basis of the different uses: the western barchessa housed commercial establishments, while the eastern one was the lodgings of the labourers.
The complex ends with the small church of Sant'Antonio (1645)

The barchessa of Villa Badoer, called "La Rotonda" (18th century), is located in Badoere, a fraction of the Municipality of Morgano in the province of Treviso. It is one of the most relevant examples of architecture at the time of the Venetian Villas, attributed to Giorgio Massari.
It is characterized by a portico divided into two hemicycles separated by a road (provincial for Istrana).
