Shooting ranges were built in 1906 near the hamlet of Vossen on the Amersfoortseweg at km marker 23. These jobs were intended for the camping army troops. They were cleared up after the Second World War. The only thing that is still present are the bullet catchers in the wooded area near the hamlet of Vossen. source: memoryvanapeldoorn.nl

In this forest along Vossen there are still several of these 'molehills'. The adjacent agricultural plot always had the name 'Kogelvangers' or 'Koegelvangers' in the Veluws way. Not a forest plot that is very striking compared to the forests in the vicinity. But perhaps interesting for fans of military history before and during the First World War.
