Neuer Radweg Talheim -> Lauffen

The new bike path between Lauffen am Neckar and Talheim was opened in 2018. It leads right next to the cement plant in Lauffen a.N. past. The advantage of this bike path is that you no longer have to drive the steep climb towards Nordheim. But over the vineyards to Nordheim is for those who have no problem with gradients, still a nice alternative, as it releases a very nice view over the Neckar direction Talheim.
The new bike path is very well done. Super surface, since the wheel rolls almost alone and there are no more gradients.
A big thank you to the communities that made this bike path possible.

What is worth waiting for. Very nice bike path section. Finally one comes to Lauffen properly.

The bike path is now completely paved, where previously many gravel paths were. The special thing is that you can now (after many years) drive past the cement works again. This has made the way from Heilbronn to Lauffen much easier. Very nice to drive and often directly on the Neckar.

There is a bike path made past the cement works. The Kieselweg is a newly paved bike path. The track is now wonderful to drive.

The cycle track between Lauffen and Talheim was inaugurated in autumn 2018. Where previously gravel road was now a veritable bike highway emerged. Partly right along the river Neckar, which is very nice. The fact that the cycle path was also built along the cement works saves a lot of detours and gradients.

Class way to driving and without much pretension.

the bike path was opened for traffic on 5.10.2018. It leads over the cement plant along the Neckar towards Heilbronn (and back). The way had to be secured very costly, separation from the factory traffic at the cement works, slope protection rock and a railing along the Neckar along (still in places under construction - so beware!)

Part of the "Schnellstraße" between Heilbronn and Lauffen, opened in October 2018. Contrary to the routing here on Komoot, it is now (almost) completely flat along the Neckar (EDIT: In the meantime Komoot knows the way now).

Very nice, completely flat asphalt road from Talheim to Lauffen. Very nice directly on the Neckar along.

The cycle path from Heilbronn to Lauffen was paved throughout in 2018 and there is now a separate passage in Lauffen am Kieswerk. It is therefore easy to drive on the RR. But will be very busy in the main season. The path is almost flat and only climbs briefly at two points. So ideal for family outings, as the path leads off the road and mostly directly along the Neckar. In Lauffen, two playgrounds await you at the mouth of the Zab - ideal for a picnic - or various refreshment stops. And if there is not enough strength left for the way back, you can also use the train.
More ambitious drivers can take the loop along the L 1105, but then with a few meters of altitude, via Nordheim and then back on the left side of the Neckar. Great for a small evening trip. The climb is also worthwhile because of the beautiful view of the Neckar Valley towards Neckarsulm. If everything fits, you can also experience beautiful sunsets here. This section is not suitable for families: too steep and the bike path is directly on the road. In addition, there are no playgrounds or rest areas on the left bank of the Neckar near the river. The city of Heilbronn has unfortunately shown the area for the Federal Garden Show in the middle of the city, so the (existing) Neckar meadows in the south and north of the city will remain more or less fallow. Too bad, but new parking garages are being built so that visitors to the Federal Garden Show can arrive and park their cars. Will the car parks continue to be fully used from 2020?

Fresh made to get over this way quickly from Heilbronn to Lauffen vice versa. The old gravel road was for MTBler although a little more suitable than the new black asphalt band. But the way is beautiful.

Kieselweg as designation is no longer correct. Is fully paved since autumn 2018 and wonderful to drive.

Just a fantastic bike path. Ideal to use with the tracking or mountain bike. Racing cyclists have to brave the gravel. At the weekend many families and groups are on the way. So you're stuck in a traffic jam fast.

Way is paved now. Goes much more pleasant and easier.

Great as a start for a short round of RR. Ideal for families.

Very nice new paved bike path often directly along the Neckar. Beautiful rock walls above. Only the massive railing to the Neckar is exaggerated! 👍😂

The bike path is easy ;-) On Sundays there is a lot going on here when the weather is nice ...
