Mount Columbia is 14,079 feet high and is more of a talus field compared to its neighbor, Mount Harvard. If you decide to link the two peaks together via the Harvard-Columbia Saddle, be prepared for a long, rocky day.

Mount Columbia, itself, offers expansive views of the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness and can be a great beginner 14er. That being said, be prepared for lots of hiking once above treeline.
