A pilgrim path goes right through the park (in the southeast behind the buildings). Hiking trails lead directly across the courtyard. The park is beautifully laid out with a pond, waterfall, island, bridge, stream, weir, figures. Streams and ponds are part of the honeycomb, which flows here under a building and then crosses the courtyard diagonally (with a bathing area and three bridges) before disappearing into the large park with a pond and two honeycomb arms.

The centuries-old estate in LUCKLUM with its manor house, church, farm buildings and stables and landscaped park is today a historically important ensemble. The village of Lucklum, which is characterized by avenues and old trees, is located on the western slope of the Elm ridge and is the gateway to the popular recreational and hiking area Reitlingstal.
In the 13th century, the German Order of Knights settled in Lucklum, founded an administrative headquarters there and operated a farm and forestry estate. In 1809 the Deutscher Ordens Kommende under Napoleon was expropriated and became privately owned. Two decades later, the farm was added to the knighthood of Brunswick country. Since then, the name Rittergut Lucklum.
