The "An der Goymark" garden association, located in the south of Dortmund-Hörde on the street of the same name, is one of the larger allotment gardens in the region. Founded in 1929, it now comprises approximately 158 plots, making it the second largest association in southern Dortmund alone. The network of main paths invites not only members but also walkers to stroll – a green retreat in the heart of the city.

The complex appears like a green island in Hörde's former industrial and residential landscape. The well-maintained small gardens, gazebos, and flowering beds create a contrast to the urban environment. Typical allotment gardens in Dortmund are robust structures made of brick, wood, and metal, as well as diverse plantings that offer high ecological and social value. The associations promote community, environmental awareness, and active leisure activities – in keeping with the traditional allotment garden movement, which has long been more than "just" vegetable growing.

The local clubhouse, which is leased and open to the public, regularly opens its doors to members and guests—a meeting place that brings community together.
