The landmarks of the four districts of the town of Hallenberg (Braunshausen, Hallenberg, Hesborn and Liesen) mark the geographical center of the town.
Where the hiking trails "Sauerland-Höhenflug", "Hallenberger-Wanderrausch" and a feeder to the Rothaarsteig pass, i.e. on the Lieser Kreuzberg, a sculpture forged by Werner Guntermann (Klosters) adorns the geographical center of Hallenberg. The sculpture shows the Hallenberg parish church, the Heidekopf tower, the Hesborner Bollerberg tower, the Lieser chair and the Braunshausen chapel.sauerlandkurier.de/hochsauerlandkreis/hallenberg/geographische-mitte-hallenberg-liegt-liesen-skulptur-aufgestellt-worden-8362760.htmlThe object was erected in 2017, the labeling panels are currently (September 2024) unfortunately no longer legible.
