It is a formation of granite rocks, which have the shape of a sitting frog. The frog rock is located in the northern part of the Harz Mountains in the Harz National Park southwest of Ilsenburg. It lies a little southwest below the summit of the Meinberg (544.5 m above sea level), which rises northwest of the Ilse, at about 515 m above sea level. NN.Der
