The traditional association of reconnaissance squadron 51 "Immelmann" Bremgarten e.V. operates the "Immelmann Museum" on the ground floor of the old water tower of the former airfield.

In addition to the large picture of the NATO airfield, which brings back memories of the old days, the museum naturally shows many pictures and uniforms, but also a wide variety of military equipment, including an ejection seat. Lots of written material, small objects in showcases and memorabilia from the period of service up to a loan from the Air Force Museum in Berlin-Gatow - the so-called Goose Bay Owl - testify to the passion for collecting of the "old" Immelmanns. A special corner is dedicated to Max Immelmann, who gave his name to the squadron. There is a cup collection and also a small museum library.

The Lockheed F-104 (Starfighter) is the heart of the Max Immelmann Museum in the Breisgau industrial park. The Lockheed F104F on display is one of the last surviving original aircraft that came directly from America and was used in school operations at the Bremgarten airfield. Year of construction: 1960.
