The sanctuary is made up of a hermitage integrated into a large elongated two-story patio with homes; This hermitage is white, with gabled roofs and curved tiles, formed by a single nave covered with a barrel vault. The altar and the throne of the virgin are separated from the rest of the temple by a fence. The houses that surround the patio, a cool cobbled space with a well, are decorated with pots of flowering plants.

Generally, the sanctuary is open every day of the year as long as there is sunlight. In addition, the hermitage has a small religious museum that can be visited on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
