ecopista is an old railway path converted to a green/cycle path although this segment in particular is still in gravel and not paved. beautiful scenery to the corgo river valley connecting the douro river (peso da régua) to stunning city of vila real. The part of the ecopista between peso da regua and the beginning of this highlight is in very bad conditions including a passage on an old railway bridge without safety.
