One of three castles Liebeneck Rabeneck and Steineck From the Liebeneck you have to continue the whale to Tiefenbronn or into the Wurmtal or the round over the lake house Auserdem you get past two pavilions from which you have a beautiful view of the valley in the fall with some fog that's especially nice in the valley

The original castle complex was probably built in the 12th century. The first documentary mention was made in 1236 on the occasion of the transfer of the castle and the village of Würm from the Lords of Weißenstein to Kräheneck to Margrave Rudolf von Baden. The castle was supposed to protect the raft customs post on the river. [1] Later the castle was inherited by the Lords of Weißenstein and then came into the possession of the Lords of Leutrum von Ertingen.

In 1692, during the Orleans War, the castle burned down. [2] In 1828 it was transferred to the Baden state. The complex was then destroyed as planned so that "rabble could not find shelter there" (see notice board). The 30 m high keep was renovated between 1968 and 1977.
