This World War II bunker, where deserting conscripts hid until liberation, is accessible via a roughly 1 km-long footpath. The walk is well worth it, as hikers near the bunker are rewarded with impressive views of the Upper Sûre Reservoir.

The earth bunkers, dug into dense young spruce forests, were mostly built with tree trunks. The tin roof was sealed with roofing felt and covered with a layer of soil and leaves for perfect camouflage. The building materials had to be laboriously hauled in at night by handcart and wheelbarrow and stored in secret locations.
