The Walchenklamm is an absolute experience for experienced SUP drivers. Good control of the board and good maneuverability are required, as the gorge also gets narrow in places and obstacles in the water have to be avoided. At the entrance to the Walchenklamm, floating tree trunks connected to each other form a barrier for flotsam. This lock can easily be circumvented. The water level/lake level should be approx. 752 m above sea level. Below 750 m above sea level, it becomes difficult to fully navigate the Walchenklamm.
