The former turbine center is a multi-part brick building. While the lower part of the hall (built in 1911) was integrated into the Anna Park Center, no new use could be found for the younger, higher hall. The approximately 20 meter high building, which is currently under construction, is not divided by floors. Only at a height of about 4 meters is a surrounding gallery. A special feature of the building is the Ljungstroem steam turbine from 1938, which is still there. During the war, this supplied the population of the city of Aachen with electricity. Both the building and the turbine are listed monuments.
