Running Highlight

RSPB Bempton Cliffs is a nature reserve managed for the seabirds. The visitor centre is open to the public with lots of information as well as a shop, cafe and toilets. Look out for Gannett, Guillemot and Puffin as well as Barn Owls.
The coast path is always fun to run, the hills aren't huge here but it's twisty and undulating as it follows the shape of the coast. Most of this section offers the choice between a winding narrow trail that follows the edge of the coast or a wider slightly straighter trail slightly inland that cuts some of the corners.
