The village of Podolševa lies below the mountain ridge of Olševa, ranging from a height of 1,020 m to 1,327 m and is one of the highest in Slovenia. Its central identity is given by the Church of the Holy Spirit, which stands in the center of the settlement. The church represents the central part of the Solčava panoramic road and is the starting point towards the famous Potočka zialka and the top of Olševa. From the road that leads through the village, we have wonderful views both of the valley and of the hills that surround this village high above the valley. Accessible by car, bicycle in all seasons from the direction of the Logar Valley, Austria via Pavličev sedlo or from the Carinthian side via the Sleme pass. There is also the possibility of tasting the culinary specialties of the Upper Savinja Valley, which are available at the surrounding tourist and excursion farms.

Steep narrow path steadily uphill, but the bear hell and the view are worth it.
