Historic Water Forge. The first records of this building date back to 1597. Therefore, he had to act earlier in this place on the Oliwa Stream. In the past, such places were called water hammers or water forges, because large chunks of metal were forged and formed in them with hammers, which were then subjected to further, specialized processing in smaller forges. To this day, among others, a hammer, weighing about 250 kilograms, and a huge scissors powered by water wheels.
