A fantastic locally operated foot ferry service that takes bicycles as well as foot passengers.

The ferry takes the short trip across the river between the “Ferry Inn” and Woodbastwick Staithe, but optionally can also take you up to the village of Horning (Swan Green), or down to Cockshoot Dyke and St Benet’s Church.

On operating days, it is possible to “hail” the ferry from the village, using the Ferry number 07393 458682.

With prioir arrangement, the ferry can also go to Ranworth and also take river trips of up to an hour in the day (e.g. to Black Horse Broad and back).
