The "Königwinkelspring" is embedded in fields and meadows about one kilometer southwest of Ostharingen. A spring, surrounded by trees such as silver willows, linden trees, alders and chestnuts, around which an old story from the Thirty Years War is entwined, which can be seen on the existing information board (Landmark 18 - Königwinkelspring - GEOPARK Harz.Braunschweiger Land.Ostfalen) in platt - and can read in High German.
The barbecue area is maintained by the Ostharingen volunteer fire brigade.

With the expansion of the ILE stamp offices to 36 stations, Ostharingen has now also got its own stamp office at Königwinkelspring.
The Königwinkelspring is both a spring with a border and a shady resting and barbecue area. There is a Geopark information board next to the stamp box. Unfortunately, the rest area is partly in a dangerous condition: part of the roof of the barbecue hut is missing, which means there is a risk of falling roof tiles. A bridge railing is also missing, loose iron bars protrude from the ground...
