The Schanzenanlage im Kanzlersgrund is a ski jumping facility in a valley called Kanzlersgrund west of Oberhof in Thuringia. It consists of a large (Hans-Renner-Schanze) and a normal hill (Rennsteigschanze). The large hill (year of construction 1959 to 1961) has a hill size of 140 meters and the normal hill (year of construction 1983 to 1987) of 100 meters.[1] The Hans-Renner-Schanze was the largest ski jump in the GDR and is one of the largest ski jumps in the world. Both ski jumps can be covered with mats and can therefore also be used in summer, which is used not only by German ski jumpers but also by jumpers from other national teams for training.

The Rennsteig-Schanze in Oberhofer Kanzlersgrund was once the largest ski jump in the former GDR. It was built between 1959 and 1961.

The ski jump cannot be found directly at this point, but you can see it in the distance.
