The ruins Helmishofen / Aufkirch is the ruin of a built in the 12th century castle at Helmishofen in the district Ostallgäu. Still preserved are the keep and some small remains of the wall. The tower has been erroneously called the Roman Tower since the early 19th century. Even if it is called false according to Wikipedia, Knows and calls it every Römer tower.
