The Hermitage of San Blas, more than a hermitage, could be said to be a humiliation, a holy place in the cattle pastures at the foot of the Najarra in Miraflores de la Sierra, composed of a small stone wall supported by a porch that houses the image of Saint Blaise, a saint known for his miraculous healings.
The hermitage is located on a promontory surrounded by the granite bowls so characteristic of this part of the Sierra de Guadarrama, from its position there is a viewpoint with beautiful views of such characteristic places as La Pedriza, Cabezas de Hierro, the Santillana reservoir and in the distance the Madrid skyline with the 4 towers.
A perfect place to stop and contemplate the immensity of that land and the tranquility that can be breathed from there, observing the silhouette of the great city in the distance.
