Kaiserstuhl Butjatha, painter, sculptor, performance artist and storyteller
Since 1984, the throne has defied the tides in the mudflats for the "good spirits of the sea" and anyone who would like to dream that they are an emperor. It is a popular photo motif and a valued climbing seat for children - muddy feet guaranteed!
Directions
The Kaiserstuhl Butjathas stands in the mudflats in front of the Kurhaus beach. A public, paid parking lot is located approx. 350 m southwest at the end of Sielstrasse. (Source: ostfriesland.travel/gehenswuerdigkeiten/gehenswuerdigkeit/kaiserstuhl-butjatha-varel-dangast)
