Not far (to the south) of the municipality of Christophhammer (Kryštofovy Hamry) is the dam wall of the Preßnitztalsperre (Vodní nádrž Přísečnice), which serves to supply drinking water to North Bohemia; Built between 1970 and 1976 to dam up the Preßnitzbach, this made it necessary to devastate the mining town of Preßnitz (Přísečnice) and the neighboring towns of Reischdorf (Rusová) and Dörnsdorf (Dolina);On the left bank, the moderately busy connecting road between Vejprty (Weipert) and Klášterec nad Ohří (Klösterle an der Eger) or Kadaň (Kaaden); more recommended is the quieter, paved bike path along the right bank of the reservoir;
